Privacy Policy

Data we collect

We only collect what we need to run your account and schedule your reviews:

• Account details: your email address, display name, and password (stored only as a secure hash — we never see the plain password).
• If you sign in with Google: your email, name, and Google's user id. We never receive your Google password.
• Study content and progress: the decks and cards you create or follow, your review history, and (optionally) a profile photo.
• Technical data needed for the service to work: a sign-in cookie and basic request logs.

How we use your data

We use your data to authenticate you, run the service, save your progress, schedule spaced-repetition reviews, and send account emails such as password reset and email verification. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Third-party services

We share the minimum data necessary with providers that help us run RepeatMe:

• Google Sign-In — to let you log in with your Google account.
• Google Analytics (GA4) — to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. Loaded only after you accept analytics cookies.
• Brevo — to deliver account emails such as password reset and email verification.

Cookies

We use a secure, HttpOnly sign-in cookie to keep you logged in, and a small cookie to remember your language. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

With your consent, we also use Google Analytics (GA4) cookies to measure usage. They are set only after you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner — you can decline, and change your choice anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data and study content, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal obligations.

Your rights and data deletion

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. To delete your RepeatMe account and all associated data:

1. In your Profile, open the “Danger zone” and choose “Delete account” — this immediately and permanently removes your account, decks, cards, and study progress.
2. Prefer email? Write to hello@repeatme.co from the address on your account and we'll delete your account within 30 days.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
